The #12 Lions (9-6) suffer their first loss to a South Florida Jewish high school team in two seasons.

Bulldogs now 2-2.

King David 77 Waldorf 22

Sam Brown’s 16 points led five players in double figures for the Lions (2-0). Lev Shustik added 15 points, Liron Steen had 14 and Noah Robibo and Nikki Sandler each scored 10.

The #2 Panthers (11-2) reach the semifinals of the Wiseburn DaVinci Holiday Classic, where they will play St. Bernard Friday at 12 PT. Jaden Azeroul led YULA with 14 points and Alex Gabbay had 10.

Shalhevet 54 Legacy Christian 48

Aiden Bitran and Sam Jacobson each scored 21 points as the #1 Firehawks (8-2) won in the West Valley Tip-Off Classic.

YESHIVA LEAGUE

TABC 63 Hillel 53

In this year’s first regular season matchup of JHA Top 10 teams, Eyal Kinderleher scored 22 points and grabbed 23 rebounds, Yonatan Faber had 14 points and Akiva Borgen added 12 as the #6 Storm (5-0; 10-2) extended their win streak to five games. Eli Braha led the #4 Heat (2-1; 6-4) with 13 points, Joey Kassin added 11 and Bobby Sigoura scored 10.

North Shore H.A. 65 Waterbury Yeshiva 52

Charlie Sassoon had 25 points and Eli Bokhour added 23 to lead the #17 Lions (4-1; 7-9). Aviad Dahari scored 21 points for the Wolfpack (2-4), Moshe Newhouse added 16 and Akiva Guggenheim had 13.

JEC 52 Ohr Yisroel 49

Tani Gottlieb had 13 points to lead the Thunder (2-3; 3-4). The Flames (1-3) were led by Ezra Stern’s 18 points.
